The Quant accurately measures powders, pellets, oil and liquids for constituent properties and physical parameters such as moisture, fat, density, pH, iodine value and so on.
FT-NIR analysers measure the near infrared spectra of samples and then calibration models are used to extract information.
The spectral performance of the Quant ensures calibration models are fully transferable, even between at-line and online FT-NIR systems.
Its design means that no scheduled maintenance is required for five years.
Use of new technology has eliminated component wear and the NIR source and interferometer laser both have 10-year average lifetimes.
A lifetime warranty on the interferometer scanning mechanism makes the Quant very reliable.
It requires no alignment or component adjustments and allows users of any level of expertise to realise the potential of FT-NIR analysis.
