The Association for Laboratory Automation (ALA) and the Laboratory Robotics Interest Group (LRIG) have selected 15 companies for the 'Late Night with LRIG - Rapid Fire Innovation Session'.
The session will take place at Labautomation2009, on 26 January at the Wyndham Palm Springs Hotel, California.
'Late Night with LRIG' offers laboratory automation companies an opportunity to showcase their latest products and technology.
The following 15 companies and products were selected: Biotek Instruments - Synergy Mx; Biomicrolab - XL 100 Vial Handling Instrument; Biotrove - Rapidfire multidimensional chromatography system (2D-RF-MS); Boreal Genomics - DNA purification instrument based on Scoda; Cellectricon AB - CellaxessHT; Cynvenio - Micro-Magnetic Separation (MMS); Labcyte - POD 810 plate assembler with next generation intellectual scheduler; Maxcyte - Maxcyte STX Scalable Transfection System; Nexus Biosystems - The XPeel; Promega - Automated Triplex Assay; Resonant Sensors - Vides Label-Free Bioassay System; Roche Nimblegen - Microarray Dryer; Sonoplot - GIX Microplotter; Sparklix - iELN; and Ziath - Datapaq.
Each of these companies will offer mini-presentations of only a few minutes long, including up to four Powerpoint slides.
Presentations will be followed by a short question and answer session.
Admission is free to all Labautomation2009 participants.
