The Institute of Clinical Research (ICR) will collaborate with the European Medical Writers Association (EMWA) to present a second joint symposium.
The seminar 'Writing Protocols - Collaboration and Compromise or Conflict and Confusion?' will take place on 24 February at Novotel London Paddington and will provide a forum for professionals involved in protocol writing.
The day-long symposium will feature presentations from industry professionals and will close with a panel discussion and question and answer session.
The programme will be split into a morning and afternoon session, chaired by freelance medical writer Wendy Kingdom and Adam Jacobs from Dianthus Medical.
Presentations will cover topics such as the problems associated with recruiting patients and the details and diplomacy of medical writing for protocols.
Soon after this, ICR will hold its 30th anniversary spring conference and exhibition, on 17-18 March at the ICC in Birmingham.
