GE Healthcare has extended its offering for Predictor 96-well plates for HTPD and parallel screening of chromatographic conditions with Assist software and additional pre-filled 96-well plates.
The extended portfolio now includes: Assist software for experimental set-up and evaluation; Mabselect Xtra and Q and SP Sepharose fast flow media; anion and cation exchange chromatography (AIEX/CIEX) screening plates with multiple media in the same plate; and plates for the determination of adsorption isotherms.
The Assist software helps to increase productivity by guiding the user through the experimental workflow: it supports scientists in setting up the experiments, keeps track of the data produced and then evaluates it.
The software can also suggest an experimental design based on the type of study, such as binding, washing, elution or determination of adsorption isotherms.
GE said its Predictor plates enable fast and efficient evaluation of up to 96 chromatography conditions per plate, reduce experimental time and decrease sample consumption.
The AIEX/CIEX screening plates provide scientists with the ability to screen several chromatography media in a single plate.
The isotherm plates have been designed to allow rapid determination of adsorption isotherms.
Data generated using Predictor plates show good correlation with data obtained in chromatography columns.
Predictor plates and Assist software make it possible to perform more experiments, which leads to a better understanding of the process.
