Oxoid reminds potential candidates that entries for the 2008/2009 Oxoid Infection Control Team of the Year Awards must be received by 13 February.
The first prize is GBP5,000, and the second and third prizes GBP1,000 and GBP500.
The Awards, held in association with the Infection Prevention Society, are simple to enter - a summary of activity in 1,800 to 2,500 words is all that is required - and entries are welcome from infection control teams in all countries around the world.
They are judged by a panel drawn from the International Association of Infection Control, the Hospital Infection Society, the Infection Prevention Society (previously known as the Infection Control Nurses Association), together with infection control professionals and representatives from Oxoid.
