The Institute of Clinical Research (ICR) is helping to address the industry skills shortage by offering an exclusive student discount for its 30th Annual Spring Conference and Exhibition.
The offer gives students an opportunity to network with clinical research professionals and explore life in this area on an informal basis, to help them decide whether a career in clinical research is for them.
The ICR resourcing special interest group will be running special sessions at the conference including introducing clinical research, describing job roles and potential career paths.
'The conference will cover subjects of interest to delegates whether they are just starting out in the profession, or have been working for years and are addressing some of the challenges facing clinical research today,' said ICR chief executive, Dr John Hooper.
The ICR's 30th Annual Spring Conference and Exhibition is entitled 'Essential Updates and Lively Debates' and will be held at the International Convention Centre (ICC) in Birmingham on 17 and 18 March 2009.
Regular one-day passes to the conference are priced at GBP455.00, but the student passes are on offer for GBP49.00 per day and include unlimited session and exhibition access.
