Harvard Apparatus has introduced the Smart System, a user-friendly video tracking system for evaluating behaviour in experimental animals.
The system acquires animal activity, trajectories, events, and social behaviour interactions in real-time images or videotaped records.
Smart Video can calculate a range of analysis parameters for up to 16 animals simultaneously.
Smart video-tracking can be used for a variety of behavioural tests including: water maze, open field, plus/radial arm mazes and place preference.
