Thermo Fisher Scientific has announced the Thermo Scientific ABgene Semi-Skirted 96-well PCR plate as its Plate of the Month for March 2009.
The Plate of the Month initiative provides scientists with ways to trial ABgene plates.
The ABgene Semi-Skirted 96-well PCR plate was designed with lab throughput flexibility in mind.
The plate deck is more rigid than non-skirted PCR plates and is segmented for easy separation into 24- and 48-well sections.
Each well has a thin walled design for optimal and consistent heat transfer and a raised rim for superior sealing with adhesive seals or cap strips while alphanumeric grid referencing makes well identification easy for any throughput.
The ABgene Semi-Skirted 96-well PCR plate is also available in opaque white for QPCR applications.
The ABgene range combines precision design, high-quality materials and clean room production to ensure reliable and reproducible products.
Like all ABgene PCR plastic consumables, the ABgene Semi-Skirted PCR Plate is manufactured from non-porous virgin (medical grade) polypropylene and is quality tested to ensure a plate of the highest quality, certified free from DNase, RNase and endotoxin contamination.
Thermo Fisher Scientific has 10 cases (25 plates in each) of the Semi-Skirted PCR plates to give away in March 2009.
This offer is on a first come, first served basis and is subject to availability.
