Thermo Fisher Scientific has announced that it will host a seminar on the Raman spectroscopic technique.
Aimed at scientists looking to expand their analysis capabilities in routine or research laboratories, the free seminar will take place on 23 April 2009 at Thermo Fisher's Hemel Hempstead facility and will be hosted by representatives from Thermo Fisher.
Event highlights include an opportunity to see Raman systems in operation and the opportunity to ask questions about specific applications and choosing the right technology for a laboratory.
The concept of using different experimental configurations to maximise the quality of data will be covered, together with other complementary spectroscopic techniques.
Raman sample handling techniques and methods will be described and novel data analysis tools will be explained.
Space is limited so pre-registration is recommended to guarantee a place.
Seminar attendance is free on a first-come-first-served basis.
