Randox Laboratories has added six new programmes to the Randox International Quality Assessment Scheme (RIQAS).
The new RIQAS programmes include: blood gas, coagulation, liquid cardiac, maternal screening, urinalysis and urine toxicology.
This is in addition to the existing nine EQA programmes, which include clinical chemistry, immunoassay, haematology, cardiac, therapeutic drugs, lipids, specific proteins, human urine and glycated haemoglobin.
RIQAS helps laboratories comply with all ISO regulations.
Comprehensive reports compare participant performance to the overall results of all laboratories using the same instrument and method.
E-transfer software enables fast data transfer at no extra cost and allows participants to view and store reports electronically.
PDF reporting is also available, allowing easy review and storage of laboratory EQA data.
RIQAS will soon offer a web-based solution, enabling direct access for the submission of results and retrieval of reports.
