John Morris Scientific has introduced NDC's fourth generation CM710E on-line gauges.
The CM710E is suitable for moisture determination in bulk commodities ranging from alumina to zeolite.
With Ethernet communication now standard and the option to extend to Ethernet IP, Profinet, Modbus, Profibus or Devicenet, together with automatic device discovery capability, the system can be integrated into existing factory networks and management information systems.
Complex power supply configurations are avoided since all 710E components run on 24V DC either from an on-site supply or power over Ethernet (POE).
Designed to give reliable and repeatable moisture measurements, the robust optics ensure that the gauge rejects any interference from ambient light, relative humidity, particle size, colour variations and temperature, as well as variations in product height as it passes under the gauge.
The high-speed light sampling and digital signal processing incorporated into the gauge means low background noise giving high-quality clean signals for process control.
Available in IP65 cast alloy as well as IP65/IP67 and Atex-certified stainless steel housings, the design guarantees long-term drift-free performance, and the applications engineering insures repeatable measurements batch after batch.
The Ethernet enabled range of CM710E on-line gauges and accessories are engineered to operate in the most demanding and challenging of measurement locations.
