Thermo Fisher Scientific has announced the Thermo Scientific ABgene semi-skirted MKII 96-well PCR plate with black lettering (AB-1400-L) as its Plate of the Month for April 2009.
The ABgene semi-skirted MKII 96-well PCR plate is a flat decked semi-skirted PCR plate that has raised alphanumeric grid referencing in black to make sample identification and plate orientation simple.
Each well has a thin-walled design for optimal and consistent heat transfer and is directly compatible with all major thermal cyclers and sequencers.
Reproducible sealing that virtually eliminates evaporation is now possible due to the flat deck of the plate and a raised rim around each well.
The MKII 96-well PCR plate is also available with optional bar coding and in opaque white for QPCR applications.
Like all ABgene PCR plastic consumables, the ABgene semi-skirted MKII PCR plate is manufactured from non-porous virgin (medical grade) polypropylene and is quality tested to ensure a plate that is certified free from DNase, RNase and endotoxin contamination.
Thermo Fisher Scientific has 10 cases (25 plates in each) of these semi-skirted MKII PCR plates with black lettering to give away in April.
