Micromeritics is offering a stimulus package to US industrial laboratories and academic institutions.
For first-time buyers of Micromeritics's products, the company will offer any of its line of surface area, porosimetry, density, particle size or chemisorption instruments with deferred payments - no payment or interest for 12 months.
As another offering in the stimulus package, Micromeritics has also instituted a gas adsorption, surface area / porosity analyser trade-in programme.
The company will accept existing instruments, regardless of manufacturer, as partial payment (up to 50 per cent of the purchase value) towards any new Micromeritics physisorption product.
As a third option, US academic institutions can now buy a materials characterisation instrument without service worries.
The company is offering a five-year parts and labour-service agreement to universities buying any Micromeritics instrument.
All sales are subject to full US list prices.
No two offers can be used in the same purchase.
