Wilks Enterprise is offering portable infrared analysers designed for easy on-site measurement of oil/grease concentrations, to be used by non-technical personnel.
Determining total oil/grease levels to ensure regulatory compliance for discharging wastewater is a worldwide problem facing all segments of the oil and gas industry.
To ensure compliance and to avoid fines for exceeding permit discharge levels, more frequent wastewater measurements are necessary to determine total oil/grease concentration.
The Infracal TOG/TPH analysers - Model HATR-T2 or the Model CVH, depending on the solvent selected for the extraction process - provide accurate, on-site measurement of total oil/grease concentration in the wastewater.
Typical analysis time is 10-15 minutes, including the extraction process.
Measurement data obtained with the Model HATR-T2 correlates to EPA Method 1664; and with the Model CVH to ASTM Method D 7066-04 and EPA Methods 413.2 and 418.1.
More than 2,000 Infracal TOG/TPH analysers are currently in worldwide use, helping the oil and gas industry to: analyse produced water on off-shore and on-shore oil platforms, monitor refinery-plant wastewater effluents and measure discharge levels into treatment centres.
They provide the assurance that the oil/grease content of wastewater will meet various regulatory requirements.
