Biotage has brought out the Snap HP-SIL high-performance flash purification cartridges.
These cartridges provide greater compound purity and sample loading, increased compound recovery and reduced waste.
The Snap HP-SIL cartridges employ 30um silica, which provides tighter elution bands for increased fraction purity and up to two-times more loading capacity than traditional flash cartridges.
The Biotage Snap requires fewer cartridges and less solvent.
It allows scientists to speed up throughput and achieve better separations.
The smaller 30um particle-size silica in the new Snap HP-SIL cartridge reduces the interstitial volume, improving separations for compounds with low CV values.
The Snap cartridges' Luer-lok connections require no compression modules or adapter kits, which further reduces costs, improving ease-of-use.
The rugged design of Biotage's new cartridges provides pressure stability of 100psi (7 bar).
Snap cartridges are available in five sizes: 10, 25, 50, 100 and 340g.
Biotage has published a new application note demonstrating how the Snap HP-SIL cartridges can reduce solvent consumption by 41 per cent and purification time by 72 per cent over a traditional flash cartridge.
