The Association for Laboratory Automation (ALA) has announced an education-based collaboration with Pittcon, focusing on student research involving laboratory automation.
The ALA's Young Scientists Poster Award will also be presented at Pittcon 2010 on 28 February-5 March in Orlando, Florida.
The winner of the ALA Young Scientists Poster Award, selected from the student presenters in a special poster session sponsored by ALA at Pittcon 2010, will receive USD1,000 and will be featured in ALA's scientific journal, 'Journal of the Association for Laboratory Automation (JALA)'.
ALA's annual conference and exhibition Labautomation2010 is set for 23-27 January at the Palm Springs Convention Centre, Palm Springs, CA.
