Uniscan Instruments has introduced its latest software package for the M370 range of scanning probe instrumentation.
Version 3.10 incorporates an experiment-calling capability, which gives increased functionality to the SECM (scanning electrochemical microscope), SVP (scanning vibrating probe), SKP (scanning Kelvin probe), SDS (scanning droplet system) and OSP (optical surface profiler) modules.
The latest version will allow a user to call all other experiments from a single line in a macro routine, so that a sequence of events can take place without input from the user.
Some examples of these new features include: the ability to call two electrochemistry experiments on two different potentiostats; to repeat the same experiment numerous times with delays, naming the output files numerically; and the ability to repeat the same area scan experiment at different locations across a sample, in a patchwork type pattern.
A Help File explains in detail the new features and gives examples of the procedure to adapt the macro routines to suit individual user's requirements.
The latest software version is available to existing users from the Uniscan Instruments website.
