The Institute for Laboratory Automation has announced a course schedule for the 'Manager's Guide to Lab Automation and Technology Management'.
The courses will take place between 29 September and 1 October 2009.
The purpose of this course is to introduce management to lab automation and includes the topics: management's role in laboratory automation; the policies that need to be developed to help ensure successful projects; models of laboratory work that can be used to define automation needs and product requirements; and an overview of the technologies used.
This course is of particular benefit to those considering Lims, electronic lab notebooks, and integrated systems.
