The UK Chapter of the Parenteral Drug Association (PDA) is hosting a networking seminar on the prevention, control and detection of mollicutes in pharmaceutical processes.
Registration is open for this half-day meeting that provides an overview of current thinking on mycoplasmas, best practice in detection and filtration, media fill trials and the impact of regulation on testing.
The agenda will cover: Introduction to BioCity; Introduction to Mycoplasmas; Detection of Mollicutes using NAT/PCR Methods; Filtration Technology as a Solution to Reduce the Risk of Mycoplasma Contamination in Biotech Processes; Changes to Aseptic Filling Validations; and the Impact on Media Regulatory Aspects of Mycoplasma Testing - A case-study presentation.
It is aimed at those working within the pharmaceuctical and biopharmaceutical industries, including: Manufacturing; Quality Control; Quality Assurance; Research and Development; Process development; and Validation.
The seminar will take place on 10 September at BioCity, Nottingham, UK.
