Magstim has announced a series of brain stimulation training courses set to take place in London in October, November and December 2009.
The courses will be hosted by Prof Vince Walsh at the Institute of Cognitive Neuroscience.
The next available dates for the courses are 9-13 October, 13-17 November and 14-18 December 2009.
The courses will offer real practical transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) experience, giving attendees the opportunity to gain live experience of the equipment used to administer TMS during partnered sessions.
The brain stimulation training course is a hands-on course in magnetic and electrical stimulation of the human brain, run over five full days.
The course provides new and existing TMS users with many of the techniques required to design, execute and analyse TMS, transcranial alternating current stimulation (tACS) and transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS) experiments.
Each course includes a number of introductory lectures on TMS and tDCS, complemented with a minimum of 20 hours practical experience.
Each course is strictly limited to 12 participants.
