Laminar Medica has launched a pre-qualified range of temperature-controlled (+15C to +25C) shipping systems.
The Medisorb MSMC range is able to maintain a consistent temperature for up to 96 hours using conventional coolpacks.
The range is said to offer an ideal solution for less-challenging temperature chain applications.
As the system uses conventional coolpacks, rather than the phase change materials used in Laminar Medica's higher-specification Medisorb MSPCM range, it is said to provide a simpler and lighter option.
Furthermore, the water-based coolpacks can be conditioned at room temperature and are easy to dispose of or recycle.
The shipping systems have been designed to offer effective protection using the minimum number of Laminar Medica components.
This is said to make the Medisorb MSPCM range simple to assemble and ensures maximum availability.
All of the systems in the range are pre-qualified for +15C to +25C, with qualification reports available on request.
There are nine Medisorb MSMC systems available, with product volumes ranging from 10-372 litres to meet a range of requirements.
