John Wiley and Sons has announced the publication of the Wiley Registry of Mass Spectral Data, Ninth Edition.
The publication is 66 per cent larger than the previous edition, featuring over 660,000 spectra, over 560,000 spectra with searchable structures and over 2.7 million chemical names and synonyms.
Topics include pharmaceuticals, illegal drugs, poisons, pesticides, steroids, natural products, metabolites, chemical warfare agents and environmental pollutants.
The registry enables identification and confirmation of the composition and chemical structure of over 590,000 compounds.
The information included benefits a variety of industries including: toxicology, forensics, pathology, homeland security, pharmaceutical research, industrial R+D/quality assurance, environmental health and safety, and food safety.
Its featured libraries include: EI-MS library with over 660,000 spectra; structure library with over 560,000 searchable structures; over 2.7 million common and systematic chemical names and synonyms; and over 590,00 compounds.
The Wiley Registry of Mass Spectral Data is compatible with most current GC/MS software, including software from Agilent, NIST, PerkinElmer, Shimadzu, Thermo Scientific and Waters.
