The Tristar II from Micromeritics is a fully automated, three-station, surface area and porosity analyser designed for applications in pharmaceuticals, catalysts, cosmetics, paints and pigments.
The company said the Tristar II is designed to increase the speed and efficiency of quality control (QC) analyses and offers the accuracy, resolution and data reduction to meet most research requirements.
The instrument combines versatility in analysis methods, data reduction, and reporting to allow the user to optimise analyses to specific applications.
The Tristar II features a dedicated saturated pressure port, allowing the measurement of saturation pressure on a continuous basis.
Three analysis ports operate simultaneously and independently of one another.
In addition, a krypton option allows measurements in the very low surface area range.
