Biotools has recently reached an agreement with the IBMP to create an epidemiological surveillance network for the Brazilian Health System, including diagnostics and production-technology transfer.
The company will transfer its proprietary technologies, and will provide the reagents and equipment needed to establish up to 26 laboratories until the end of agreement.
Biotools will also provide technical support for laboratory implementation, as well as for their maintenance, enabling product development and solutions to meet the requirements of Brazilian and South American epidemiology in general.
This agreement is part of the Strategic Plan of the Brazilian Health System for controlling health spending and achieving technological independence.
