Centeo Biosciences has launched the TG200 Hotel system, designed to enable optimisation and screening temperatures in a portable, handheld device.
The TG200 Hotel system is the next generation of the TG40 system launched in 2009.
The initial market for the TG40 system was protein crystallisation and stability testing.
The TG40 system enables rapid screening of experimental temperature conditions from 4C to 60C, and portable control maintains set temperature during analysis.
It enables real-time temperature monitoring during optimisation.
A feature in the TG40 software reports that the set temperatures were maintained during the experiment.
The real-time monitoring enables plotting of the temperatures of each row for a visual display of temperatures during the experiment.
During the experiment the temperatures can be ramped up and down as needed to optimise the crystallisation results.
With the introduction of the TG200 Hotel system it is possible to manage a series of experiments (up to five at a time) running concurrently in TG40 microplate systems.
The TG200 system provides a convenient hotel system enabling individual control of up to five TG40 microplates simultaneously from a single PC.
The TG200 Hotel system enables concurrent multi-user experiments with independent temperature programs for each TG40 microplate.
Each TG40 microplate provides temperature control for optimisation and screening of crystallisation temperatures in a portable, handheld device.
