Lambda Advanced Technology has launched the Hitachi F-2700 fluorescence spectrophotometer for applications in teaching, biotech and material research.
The F-2700 has high sensitivity, wide dynamic range and an extensive range of accessories.
It is available as a standalone unit using the large, built-in keyboard and LCD screen, making it ideal for teaching and routine measurements.
However, by adding PC control using Hitachi's FL Solutions control software, the scan speed is as high as 12,000nm/min, making it ideal for 3D scanning, extending the capabilities to biotech research and quantum yield applications.
Scan speeds of up to 3,000nm/mm, resolution of 2.5nm and data-processing functions for photometry, wavelength scanning and time scanning, makes the F-2700 suitable for a host of applications.
It also features a good signal-to-noise ratio (800 S/N RMS, Raman band of water at 5nm bandwidth).
The wide dynamic range allows determination of concentration over six orders of magnitude with a calibration curve.
A range of accessories is available, including automatic sampling, quantum yield measurement unit, full-range spectral correction kit, and 100uL micro cell.
