Anaspec has released the mouse monoclonal Anti-MOG (1-125) for the advancement of MS research.
Anti-MOG monoclonal antibody was produced by immunising Balb/c mice with recombinant MOG (1-125) as antigen.
It is supplied as purified mouse IgG1, 250ul in 40mM MOPS (pH 7.5) with 50 per cent glycerol containing 0.1 per cent sodium azide and 0.1 per cent BSA.
Myelin Oligodendrocyte Glycoprotein (MOG) is a member of the immunoglobulin super-family and is expressed exclusively in the central nervous system (CNS).
MOG protein constitutes only 0.01-0.5 per cent of the CNS myelin proteins, has a mass of 27kDa and is located in the outermost layer of myelin sheath (1-6).
