Gamry's 22nd short course on Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy will take place in Houston, Texas, on 11-15 April 2011.
The Short Course will provide delegates with a working knowledge of EIS - said to be one of the most powerful methods available in electrochemistry.
This will include a discussion of the theory, it's application and hands-on laboratory experience.
Delegates will use EIS to measure corrosion rates, characterise a metal oxide, examine the effectiveness of a corrosion inhibitor and determine battery performance.
In addition, methods of data presentation, data interpretation and analysis, and model fitting both in the classroom and in the laboratory will be covered.
Delegates will become familiar with Gamry potentiostats and software for experimental control, data analysis and model fitting.
