Laser and photonics specialist Newport has published 'Newport Resource', a catalogue that is dedicated to photonics research products and their related applications.
The 1,632-page catalogue features products from all Newport brands, including Corion, New Focus, Oriel Instruments, Richardson Gratings, and Spectra-Physics Lasers.
It will be available in several languages, including English, French, German and Chinese.
'Newport Resource' is designed as a learning resource and product guide for optoelectronics engineers, universities and photonics researchers.
There are also more than 202 pages of technical and application notes, plus instructive reference information - for example, definitions and characteristics for tunable diode lasers, manual positioning, picomotors, optical measurement devices, optics and more.
Each person who pre-orders 'Newport Resource' by 15 July 2011 will be entered into a competition for a change to win one of two Flip video cameras.
