The AuroFlow Fluoroquinolone Strip Test Kit is a rapid screening tool for the meat and dairy industries.
The AuroFlow Fluoroquinolone Strip Test Kit is designed to detect 8 of the major fluoroquinolone antibiotics, including enrofloxacin and ciprofloxacin, below the Maximum Residue Limit (MRL) set by the European Union.
Fluoroquinolone antibiotics, commonly used to treat veterinary infections by E. coli, Salmonella, Pasteurella, and Haemophilus, are banned by the FDA for use in food-producing animals including dairy cattle and poultry.
However, extra-label use and unintended contamination of poultry feed continue to be a persistent problem.

The kit, which uses a quick dipstick format, can detect fluoroquinolone contamination in raw milk in 7 minutes and in meat in less than 20 minutes.
The AuroFlow Fluoroquinolone Strip Test Kit is available in 96-test or 192-test formats for either raw milk or meat samples.
