Cecil Instruments has added a fully redesigned electrochemical detector to its product range.
The detector may be added to Cecil Instruments’ modular Adept and Q-Adept HPLC and IonQuest Ion Chromatography systems. It can also be used with many third party liquid chromatography systems, with control via stand-alone keys.
With modes of DC, scanning DC and pulsed amperometric available, the detector can be used with gold, glassy carbon, silver and platinum working electrodes, together with a choice of reference electrodes.
It can also be used in series with other detectors, such as the Cecil WaveQuest ultra fast scanning UV/Visible detector.
Sensitivities of 10 –15 mol are achievable with ease and simplicity. Trace level detection of many crime scene residues, environmental contaminants, poisons, carbohydrates, residual drugs, paint traces, metabolites and pesticide residues are also achievable.
When used in conjunction with PowerStream chromatography software, the detector provides 21 CFR part 11 compliance.
