Porvair Sciences, in association with Asynt, will present a masterclass on laboratory evaporation techniques at Lab Innovations 2015.
Steve Knight from Porvair Sciences will be describing the benefits of blowdown evaporators and demonstrating how the UltraVap Mistral can speed up the processing of biological samples in microplates for LC-MS analysis.
In addition, Martyn Fordham of Asynt will introduce the Smart Evaporator from BioChromato and demonstrate how, by using its patented vacuum-assisted vortex concentration technology, laboratories can rapidly concentrate even high-boiling solvents, such as DMSO, DMF and water from tubes and vials without heating to high temperatures.
The free masterclass takes place in the Presentation Theatre at 11:00 on November 5.
