The new MessageSensor RT kit contains an RNase H+ reverse transcriptase (RT) that results in greater sensitivity in one-step, qRT-PCR experiments compared to RNase H- RTs available from other vendors.
The MessageSensor RT will report mRNA abundance accurately over a 106-fold range of input RNA. Transcripts can be quantitated from as little as 500fg of total RNA - 1/20th of a single cell.
The fast, flexible RT step is completed in 15 minutes.
The kit is compatible with one-step, real-time detection methods using TaqMan probes and SYBR Green.
