Simultaneous measurement of up to six substrates including sucrose, glucose and ethanol allows manufacturing processes to be monitored and controlled to maintain product quality
The addition of two new analytes - sucrose and ethanol - to the highly successful YSI 7100 MBS is of particular interest to the food industry, pharmaceutical manufacturers and microbiologists. Simultaneous measurement of up to six substrates including sucrose, glucose and ethanol allows manufacturing processes to be monitored and controlled to maintain quality of product.
Other substrates currently available are lactate, glutamine, glutamate, ammonium, and potassium, with others to be released shortly. Proven YSI technology uses immobilised enzyme electrodes which not only ensure accurate, rapid measurements but keep operating costs low as the mix-and-match membranes can be re-used many times.
To improve laboratory efficiency, no pre-treatment of samples is necessary and the analyser has easy user access for routine maintenance.
The system can be configured to suit individual requirements with many optional features allowing it to be upgraded to meet changing demands.
The convenient touch screen display and the barcode entry system make programming simple whilst the 30 position autosampler leaves the operator free to work on other tasks.
A built in printer and fully portable data system provide output, storage and transfer options.
