Carousels offer unrivalled versatility with options to accommodate a variety of different tubes, as well as standard microplates or deep well plates
Grant Instruments announces the launch of its new range of Grant/Boekel carousels, which has been designed to increase the flexibility of the popular series of rotating hybridisation incubators.
The new carousels offer unrivalled versatility with options to accommodate a variety of different tubes, as well as standard microplates or deep well plates.
A multi-tube carousel is now available for each of the HIR12/10M, the HIR4M and HIM20 incubators, which supersedes the previous single tube units. These carousels are designed for tubes smaller than the standard 35mm diameter hybridisation bottles, which are ideal for blotting processes and applications requiring the use of smaller membranes.
The multi-tube carousels work with a variety of interchangeable mounting clip sizes to securely hold any combination of 50ml, 15ml, 2.0ml and 1.5ml tubes, subject only to available space.
Tubes can be positioned vertically, horizontally or at an intermediate angle to facilitate optimum mixing or membrane coverage.
An additional carousel designed specifically to accommodate standard 96-well plates and deep well plates for the HIR12/10M and HIR4M models is also available.
A full range of off-the-shelf carousel fixtures can also be supplied, including glass hybridisation bottles, caps, leak-proof seals and mesh spacers, making the Grant/Boekel incubators some of the most versatile on the market.
The carousels and accessories form part of the extensive range of popular life science products available from Grant Instruments/Boekel Scientific.
All products bear the CE mark, supported by a comprehensive two-year guarantee and can be purchased worldwide through an extensive network of laboratory distributors.
