Using microprocessor control, the mixing platform can be spun, vibrated and rocked, for unrivalled versatility.
The easy to use rotators not only provide vertical spinning (turning the tube end over end), but they also emulate other manual actions used for mixing in small tubes; rocking motion has the effect of backward and forward shaking; the vibration action imitates a light tap with a finger. Rocking angle and speed are adjustable to facilitate optimum mixing, especially useful with small sample sizes.
Two models are available each complete with a standard platform.
The competitively priced PTR-30 compact rotator holds up to 22 microtubes, with speed control over a range from 5 to 30rpm.
The high performance large-capacity PTR-60 model accommodates up to 48 microtubes, with a variable speed of 5 to 60rpm.
The small footprint PTR rotators look great on the bench and are feature packed, with a simple and straightforward set-up of a multi-segment programme, using touch sensitive keys and a two line display.
An integral timer controls programme duration and a useful five second pause facility is available, to allow viscous droplets time to slide down the tube walls.
