A visit to International Biotech or Lab Automation Europe could really pay off, with an increased grant to buy products from any of the exhibitors
The organisers of International Biotech and Lab Automation Europe (16-17 Nov 2004) have increased the Science in Practice grant to £2000 for the 2004 event.
"Last year's show had a real buzz, with new products being launched, new technologies on display and a busy exhibition floor" said Rachael Stroud, marketing manager, IIR Exhibitions.
"Visitors really liked the fact that, as organisers of two of the most significant events in the life science calendar, we were also supporting their work.
"Because of this feedback, we have increased the award to œ2000 for this year's event".
The Science in Practice grant will be awarded to a practising life scientist from academia, industry or government who pre-registers for and attends either the International Biotech or the Lab Automation Europe exhibitions, or the Lab Automation Europe conference.
Registration and entrance to both exhibitions is free.
The £2000 award is for the purchase of equipment, disposables, reagents, software or other product from any of the exhibiting companies at either event.
