At Pittcon 2002 in New Orleans, International Sorbent Technology will be introducing new products for both bioanalytical SPE and purification in organic synthesis applications
The new products being shown by International Sorbent Technology (IST) at Pittcon include Isolute HCX-QT - a novel mixed-mode sorbent and methodology for the extraction of quaternary amines and strongly basic compounds from biological fluids.
These compounds can be difficult to extract using traditional methods. Isolute Array-24, a 24-well position microtitre format for high throughput, high capacity purification applications in organic synthesis, will also be launched.
IST will be exhibiting an extended range of purification products for parallel synthesis including: ion-exchange sorbents for reagent scavenging; vacuum processing manifolds; high capacity 96-well SPE plates; flash chromatography products; and filtration columns and 96-well plates.
These products will be displayed along with IST standard range of Isolute SPE columns, 96-well SPE plates and vacuum manifolds.
Poster and presentations from IST will include increasing selectivity and scavenging efficiency in purification of organic synthesis reaction mixtures using SPE; the effect of sorbent particle size on separation efficiency, flow rate and columns capacity in flash chromatography, and the extraction of clenbuterol from biological matrices using MIP based sorbents. IST is on booth 1040 a Pittcon.
