New generation particle size analyser measures mass by X-ray absorption and particle size by sedimentation leads the line-up at the Chicago event
Micromeritics, located on booths 1921 and 2021, will be introducing several new products at this year's Pittcon exhibition (Chicago, 8-12 March).
Micromeritics's new generation SediGraph III 5120 particle size analyser combines the proven SediGraph analytical technique with advanced instrumentation features to provide superior repeatability, accuracy, and reproducibility.
The SediGraph III measures mass by X-ray absorption and particle size by sedimentation - no modelling is required.
Complete particle accountability assures that all of the introduced sample is accounted for, even that fraction of the sample that is outside of the measurement range. The Gemini V series is ideal for measuring the surface area and porosity of a wide variety of materials.
The Gemini 2365 determines single-point and multipoint BET and Langmuir surface areas, total pore volume, and micropore analysis by the t-method. The capability to determine statistical thickness surface area (STSA) of carbon blacks is also included.
The Gemini 2380 can additionally provide BJH pore volume distributions.
New Confirm software for the 21 CFR Part 11 environment is now offered with a Micromeritics suite of products that include the Saturn DigiSizer 5200 high resolution laser particle size analyser, Asap 2020 accelerated surface area and porosimetry system, TriStar 3000 surface area and porosimetry analyser, and the Gemini V series surface area analyzers.
Combined with Micromeritics's IQ and OQ services, the user can be assured that each system is validated for accuracy, reliability, consistent intended performance, and provides safeguards to protect the integrity of analysis records.
The ChemiSorb 2720 and ChemiSorb Plus 2750 chemisorption analysers combine the ability to perform both physical adsorption (single-point BET surface area, and total pore volume) and chemisorption (percent dispersion, active metal area, and surface acidity) measurements in the same low-cost and upgradeable system.
Add additional capability (multipoint BET and Langmuir surface area, data archiving and reporting, and automatic calculation of data) with ChemiSoft TPx software.
The TPx option provides temperature-programmed reactions capability.
