Delivers 6000W at whats are said to be unrivalled levels of smoothness, giving low RF emissions and high immunity against interference
Specialist power conversion distributor Powerline has released the latest high-powered AC-DC bench power supply from Delta Elektronika.
Thanks to its innovative soft switching technique, the programmable SM6000 series delivers 6000W at 'unrivalled' levels of smoothness, giving low RF emissions and high immunity against interference, offering designers an extra margin of EMC performance.
Moreover, a wide range of voltage outputs, cost effective quality manufacture and long design life provide the optimum solution for a whole host of process control and laboratory applications.
The SM6000 series consists of seven units with output voltages and currents respectively of 15V-400A, 30V-200A, 45V-140A, 60V-100A, 70V-90A, 120V-50A and 300V-20A.
All models feature active power factor correction with a 3-phase input voltage range of 342-457VAC. Representative of the range, the 30V-200A unit has an output ripple and noise specification of only 8mV peak-to-peak at 50MHz bandwidth - around a tenth of the noise level of competing power supplies.
The transient response time of 100ms guarantees consistent output voltage and makes the units particularly suitable for applications where the load is dynamic.
As standard, the units are analogue programmable with optional ISO AMP card to prevent earth loops.
IEEE 488 or RS232 programming is available via optional interface cards.
The power supplies are capable of master/slave parallel and series operation with equal current and voltage sharing, forming a building block for high power/voltage systems.
