For high throughput laboratories currently focusing on microplate assays, the versatile UltraVap from Porvair Sciences is said to be the sample concentrator of choice.
With leading edge evaporator head technology and innovative manifold design the affordable UltraVap rapidly removes even the most stubborn solvents from microplate-held samples increasing throughput.
The UltraVap will remove 500 microlitres of methanol from a multi-well plate in less than six minutes.
Built for operational versatility the UltraVap offers special facility for heat sensitive and thermally labile samples and an RS232C port which allows the unit to be fully integrated into robotic automation systems.
Intuitive on-board software enables the UltraVap to be fully controlled by a remote PC as well as providing on-board storage for up to nine different program methods.
Additional PC software for the UltraVap provides users with the ability to undertake GLP logging of operation and results.
Stored program methods increase system productivity and flexibility by eliminating the need for skilled operators to set-up the system when changing from one experiment to another.
