Southern Scientific has been appointed by Leeds Test Objects as the exclusive UK distributor for the company's range of X-ray test objects that originated in the University of Leeds Department of Medical Physics.
All sales and technical enquires will now be handled by Southern Scientific.
Website and marketing support links have been established between the two companies to ensure that all enquiries continue to be handled efficiently. Mike Bannard, managing director of Leeds Test Objects, said: "This appointment will enhance our level of customer support because we will be working with a company that is well established as one of the UK's leading X-ray QA specialists. Southern Scientific offers a complementary range of products and technical expertise and this has to be of benefit to customers of both companies.
In addition, this will allow us more time to concentrate on the development and manufacture of new products and world markets in order to meet the demands for test tools to evaluate new imaging technologies."
