One day meeting is designed to bring together people with an interest in filtration in order to up-date them with the latest advances in new and emergent filter technologies
This year's Filtration Society conference, Filter Testing, Validation and Monitoring, will be held on 19 October 2004 at the Heath Conference Centre in Runcorn, UK.
The conference is being organised by Graham Rideal, a member of the council of the Filtration Society and managing director of Whitehouse Scientific, and is being sponsored by Whitehouse Scientific, Palas, Parker Hannifin.
Dr Rideal commented: "This one day meeting is designed to bring together people with an interest in filtration in order to up-date them with the latest advances in new and emergent filter technologies.
"QThe Filtration Society's annual conference now features significantly in the filtration calendar and the 2004 event is significant in that it also marks the 40th anniversary of the Filtration Society.
"It looks set to be the largest yet, with attendees expected from around the world".
The programme for the day covers all aspects of filter testing, validation and monitoring both in liquid and gas applications.
The theme of leading edge technology and its effect on the production and use of high quality filter media will again be prominent.
A commercial exhibition will run alongside the meeting.
