Portable UV-vis spectroradiometers retains the maximum accuracy of a traditional double grating spectral measurement system but also features a speed comparable with array spectrometers
Glen Spectra, exclusive representative of Optronics Laboratories, announces the arrival of the OL756, the latest in a long running range of portable UV-vis (200-800nm) spectroradiometers.
It features a USB port for state of the art connectivity, double monochromator for ultimate stray light rejection (critical for accurate UV measurements) and narrow bandwidth (user variable from approximately 1-5nm) and temperature stabilised auto-ranging PMT detector spanning six decades for high sensitivity and dynamic range.
The OL756 retains the maximum accuracy of a traditional double grating spectral measurement system but also features a speed comparable with array spectrometers.
It is said to be ideal for performing solar spectral measurements over the full range in less than 6.5 seconds.
It also operates on 12V DC power for portable or remote measurements.
Input optics available for the OL 756 include cosine corrected integrating spheres for spectral irradiance studies, telescopes and microscopes for spectral radiance measurements, and transmission/reflection measurement accessories.
For increased flexibility or restricted measurement geometries, the optional integrating spheres may also be coupled to the system with a quartz fibre optic probe.
