Fully radiometric infra red camera uses advanced uncooled UFPA microbolometer technology to give a full 320x240 pixel image, breaking new ground in cost versus performance
The IVN 320-P Thermal Imager is an innovative hand held camera with a performance normally found in models costing significantly more, says Impac Infrared.
The company says it should not be compared with the general low cost cameras that have only a 160x120 pixel image and limited features, which have been flooding the market.
The IVN 320-P is a fully radiometric camera, using advanced uncooled UFPA microbolometer technology to give a full 320x240 pixel image.
Its ergonomic design gives the user a comfortable one-handed point and shoot operation, using the single button on top of the camera.
Camera set up is a breeze, says the company, using the touch screen TFT-LCD display on the rear.
Temperatures from -20 to 500C (Option to 900C) can be measured and 124 images can be saved to the internal memory for viewing or transferring to a PC using a standard USB2.0 connection.
The IVN 320-P has a sensitivity of less than 0.1C at 30C and is said to be ideally suited to industrial, research and medical applications.
Using the MidasSpec software images can be fully analysed for report generation, and using MidasSpec RT software data can be transferred on-line from the camera to the PC.
The IVN 320-P is said to break new ground in cost versus performance, bringing to the market a high performance camera at an affordable cost.
