Major new research reagent initiative adds new lines of non-human antibodies, cell signalling reagents and multiplex bead assays as well as a unique menu of MHC tetramers for T-cell research
Beckman Coulter announces what it says is a major new research reagent initiative, adding new lines of non-human antibodies, cell signalling reagents and multiplex bead assays to the company's existing antibody portfolio.
The new Cellular Analysis Catalogue offers over 3200 products, including 1800 new animal antibodies and, for the first time, a unique menu of MHC tetramers for T-cell research.
Beckman Coulter cellular analysis reagents meet the needs of a wide range of research applications using flow cytometry and imaging.
For special applications, customers can now take advantage of the company's custom design service through a new web page, where they can order reagents, unique cocktails of antibodies, and custom conjugations to meet their exact needs.
"This reagent initiative and comprehensive new catalogue go hand-in-hand with our recent cellular analysis instrumentation announcements for research," commented Ian Ley, director of Beckman Coulter's cellular analysis research business centre.
"With the doubling of our reagents line, we can offer our customers the convenience of locating everything they need in one place".
The new cellular analysis offering features a comprehensive portfolio of non-human antibodies, including anti-mouse and anti-rat, and a new line of cell signalling reagents optimised for flow cytometry that includes antibodies for some of the most important pathway markers for oncology research.
Beckman Coulter's new line of multiplex bead assays includes ten-plex cytokine antibody panels against both human and mouse, a seven-plex cardiac research panel that incorporates the soluble CD40 ligand, and a new adhesion focused panel.
All of these assays are also available independently and can be mixed and matched, for maximum flexibility.
The new assays can be performed on any flow cytometer with a 488nm laser, including the Beckman Coulter FC 500 and new Cell Lab Quanta benchtop instrument.
The new Cellular Analysis Catalogue is available free of charge and can be ordered online.
