Sterile syringe filters have particularly low adsorption characteristics which ensures minimal loss of proteins and other biological entities
SMI-LabHut announces the introduction of a new range of syringe filters under the Cronus Filter brand name.
The new 25mm sterile syringe filters are currently available in two membrane types, polyethersulphone (PES) and cellulose acetate.
The Cronus filters have particularly low adsorption characteristics which ensures minimal loss of proteins and other biological entities.
The filter geometry is designed for maximum sample throughput with low backpressure.
Individually packed and sterilised, each box of 50 filters is lot numbered for QC tracking.
The sterile filters are the first product in an extensive range of brand new HPLC consumables being introduced under the Cronus brand by SMI-LabHut during 2005.
Already well known for supplying the Titan brand of syringe filters in Europe, the Cronus range of sterile filters complements, and expands, the company's current range of chromatography consumables, it says.
