SPECTRO Analytical Instruments announces SPECTRO AI QUANT, an advanced software solution designed to simplify and accelerate semiquantitative ICP-OES analysis for modern laboratories.
Powered by artificial intelligence and machine learning, SPECTRO AI QUANT enables rapid identification of unknown samples without the need for method setup, calibration, or standard preparation. Users can obtain reliable semiquantitative results in minutes with just a few clicks, significantly reducing operator workload.
At its core is a newly developed spectral library containing 44,000 lines across 75 elements, built from empirical measurements and optimized for instrument performance. Unlike traditional approaches, the software uses a single sample to normalize training data, allowing seamless transfer across instruments and immediate usability.
SPECTRO AI QUANT also accelerates method development, often eliminating it entirely for certain applications, saving laboratories valuable time. Its intuitive interface delivers clear visual outputs, including element heatmaps and confidence-ranked results, while retrospective analysis of archived spectra unlocks additional insights from past measurements.
Compatible with SPECTRO ICP-OES systems, the software supports diverse applications—from environmental testing to metals and petrochemicals—making it a powerful tool for efficient, flexible elemental analysis.
