Device is said to be ideal for performing solar spectral measurements over the full range in less than 6.5 seconds, and operates on 12V DC power for portable or remote measurements
Glen Spectra announces the release of the OL 756 high-accuracy UV-vis spectral measurement system from Optronic Laboratories, its newest compact, portable double monochromator system for spectral measurements over the 200-800nm wavelength range.
The system features USB interface, high sensitivity, extremely low stray light levels, narrow bandwidths, large dynamic range, and high wavelength accuracy and precision.
The OL 756 is said to be ideal for performing solar spectral measurements over the full range in less than 6.5 seconds.
It also operates on 12V DC power for portable or remote measurements.
Glen Spectra says its role is to act as the UK representative for a number of US companies operating in the general field of light measurement.
Most of the product range offered by Glen Spectra is complementary with the products of our parent company Horiba Jobin Yvon, allowing it to offer a wider choice to its customers.
Optronic Laboratories is involved in optical radiation measurement.
Designing and manufacturing light measurement systems that provide accurate, repeatable research-grade measurements in the UV-vis-NIR-IR wavelength ranges for research, academia, industry and the military.
Instruments are used in metrology, R and D, quality control and production, and it says clients are guaranteed the industry's finest modular systems, traceable standards and accessories.
It says its light measurement systems are designed to provide consistent, precise and repeatable measurements throughout the long life of the instrumentation.
