Promising excellent linearity and stability in a compact design that takes less laboratory space, these gas isotope ratio mass spectrometers are suited to a wide range of research applications
Thermo Electron believes it has strengthened its position in the isotope ratio MS market with the launch of two new gas isotope ratio mass spectrometers, the Delta V Advantage and the Delta V Plus.
This new Delta V series is said to offer excellent linearity and stability, a compact design that takes less laboratory space, and guarantee low noise emission.
The Delta V series is targeted at academic customers as well as scientists, whose main topic of research is geology, forensic, agriculture, food and beverage, quality control, doping, pharmaceuticals or medical and diagnostics industries.
The instruments supercede the existing Delta Plus Advantage and Delta Plus XP, offering superior performance with respect to sensitivity, versatility and reliability, says Thermo.
They are complemented by a large selection of sample preparation systems, enabling complete, specific solutions for a wide range of research and control applications, including climate research, hydrology, paleontology, authenticity control of food and drugs, biology and medicine.
Both liquid chromatographs and gas chromatographs can be connected on-line to the Delta V series.
Delta V Plus is a research engine offering scientists what the company says is an unmatched set of performance features and the widest range of applications available.
The Delta V Advantage is targeted at laboratories needing a reliable gas isotope ratio MS instrument for routine analyses.
Easy to use, it offers high uptime and best price/performance ratio, says Thermo.
